Suet'Amor was not born in a lab or a boardroom.
It was born from a mother watching her daughter's skin transform, from years of seeking something cleaner and more honest than what the beauty industry offered, and from a quiet but growing conviction that the most powerful skincare had been hiding in plain sight for centuries.
We are Kimberly and Dinah, a daughter-in-law and mother-in-law, and together we created Suet'Amor from Seal Beach, California.
Kimberly's Story
Kimberly grew up in Santa Cruz, deeply connected to the natural world. Surfing, hiking, paddling, growing organic produce, spending as much time outdoors as possible. Natural wellness was never a trend for her, it was simply the way life worked. She was raised to believe the body has an incredible capacity to heal when given the right support.
That belief carried through into motherhood. As a mother of four, all born naturally, Kimberly watched her body change in ways she could not have fully anticipated when she was younger. After her first daughter, she experienced intimate discomfort that affected her life in ways that are rarely spoken about openly. As she grew older and began navigating the early stages of perimenopause, she found herself searching again, seeking medically informed, holistic approaches that honored the whole body rather than simply masking symptoms.
She had always cared deeply about ingredients, where they came from, how they had been used traditionally, and what they were actually doing to the body. From ginger root tea and bone broth to herbal tinctures and medicinal mushrooms, Kimberly's approach to wellness was rooted in intention.
When a friend introduced her to tallow, her first instinct was skepticism. She had spent years avoiding animal-based products. The Product
Balm De Amor contains three ingredients. Grass-fed, grass-finished beef suet, wet-rendered to food and medical grade purity. Raw honey, chosen for its natural humectant and antimicrobial properties. And beeswax, to give the balm its silky, protective texture.
